LET IT GO is THE SHAVES debut album and was produced in only five weeks from inception to duplication. This recording captures the intensity and energy of Peter Carucci's vocals, guitar, and songwriting, as each track on the cd was recorded live in only one take - except for the song "Child", after which drummer Frank Picarazzi can be heard yelling, "And that's why you do another take!" The rythym, texture, and tone of Scott Schaevitz on bass rounds out all the edges. The guitar stylings and solos of Wilson Montuori, as well as the additional guitar parts of Ted Rollins and Steve Liesman, give life and breathe to the live feel of this “power recording.” Let It Go gets its name from a SHAVES' song that does not appear on the album (The Sickness) and every track will move you. Let It Go is available on iTunes - here and on CDBaby - here.
